CAB enjoyed an excellent FIT Show 2019 with fantastic support from 11 members from across the supply chain. In total 34 CAB member companies were represented at the now annual exhibition.
The 84m2 CAB Lounge highlighted the newly launched Closed Loop Recycling Scheme (Pilot) and also the work on developing generic training for aluminuium fabricators/installers leading to a CAB Skills Card. In addition CAB took the opportunity to outline the specialist Aluminium Curtain Walling Installers Course intended for those renewing their CSCS cards or taking up a CSCS card for the first time. Training and addressing the Skills Gap were key themes for the Show in 2019 and CAB ceo Justin Ratcliffe participated in a supporting seminar on the Skills Gap
CAB members made good use of the Lounge area as a general networking area to meet colleagues, customers and suppliers. It was also an opportunity to ensure that members were up to date with all the Association’s activities and were making the most of all the technical and marketing benefits including the free technical support service and extensive meetings and seminars programme.
A highlight for the CAB Lounge was the Tuesday afternoon reception when members and their guests were invited to network on the stand.
