We are delighted to announce details of our Autumn Forum at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, followed by drinks reception and dinner at the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool which will take place on Thursday 13th October 2022.
Located in Merseyside, Liverpool, the Royal Liver Building is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building, located on the waterfront with panoramic views over the River Mersey and is home to the mythical Liver Birds. The Royal Liver building has become a world recognisable landmark of Liverpool, with the Liver Birds recognised as the official symbol of the historic city. Business Forum from 4.15pm
Our Forum, which is free to our members to attend, takes place in the Princes Suite at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Liverpool City Centre, 2 St Nicholas Place, Liverpool, L3 1QW and will include updates on CAB’s activities as well as topical business presentations. Further information to follow.

Geraldine Fleming of Driver Trett will update members on current risks and obligations on contracts, sub contracts and claims
Emma Eves of Balfour Beatty will discuss their experience and sustainability in projects such as primary schools, universities and ground-breaking hospitals
Drinks Reception and Dinner
Following the Forum, our drinks reception will take place in the beautiful River Balcony Suite at the Royal Liver Building followed by dinner in the Bella/Bertie Suite.
The format for the afternoon/evening is as follows: –

5.00pm Business Forum in Princes Suite – Session 1
5.50pm Refreshment break
6.15pm Business Forum in Princes Suite – Session 2
6.50pm Depart Crowne Plaza Hotel, walk to the Royal Liver Building (5 minute walk)
7.00pm Drinks Reception in River Balcony, Royal Liver Building
8.00pm Dinner in Bella/Bertie Suite, Royal Liver Building
11.00pm Depart Royal Liver Building
Dinner is charged at £180 + VAT (£36) per person = £216
Tables of 10 are discounted at £1,700 + VAT (£340) = £2,040
ACCOMMODATION
An allocation of rooms has been reserved at our main hotel, the nearby Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre, 2 St Nicholas Place, Liverpool, L3 1QW at a B & B rate of £112.50 plus VAT. The hotel (with on-site parking) is approximately a 5-minute walk to the Royal Liver Building. RLB 360 TOUR
Unfortunately, this tour has been cancelled for the evening due to minimum numbers not being reached. Should you wish to do the tour we can offer a 2pm slot on the 13th October at the same discounted rate of £13.00. Please contact Jessica Dean on jessica.dean@c-a-b.org.uk to book a place.
The tour of the Royal Liver Building will take place during the drinks reception. Due to the small spaces during the tour only 20 are allowed at a time.
The tour will give you the opportunity to see the breath taking panoramic views across Liverpool, visit the original mechanism room behind the clocks, which includes an audio visual experience telling the story of the building’s significance, as well as getting up close to the world famous Liver Birds.
