Founded in 2006 by Mark Barnard, a design engineer, Contrasol has steadily grown each year, with Mark building a team that embraces his passion for design and bespoke solutions. Contrasol’s main focus has been on the design resources needed to address the market’s developing requirements for sophisticated structural, thermal and solar performance. As a result, Contrasol has come to be one of the few solar shading specialists that can properly unite these various specifications into an integrated, value engineered design. This ability makes the Company an essential member of the design team on any project. Contrasol is particularly well placed to tackle complex and innovative projects on a Nationwide basis, from either of its regional offices. Its increasing product range includes, Solar Shading solutions for fixed or motorised brise soleil, louvres, and sliding shutters all available in both aluminium and glass.
