CAB are delighted to announce marketing guru Martin Troughton will speak at our Spring Forum. The Forum, with free entry to CAB members, will be held at Aerospace Bristol on Thursday 16th March 2023, from 4 pm.
Martin is a highly respected figure in the marketing industry and has had a career of two halves. First agency life in London starting as a graduate trainee with Ogilvy & Mather Direct then seen as the university of direct marketing. He then moved to BT CCU, Bates Communications before founding his own agency, Harrison Troughton Wunderman, which became one of the most creatively respected and awarded agencies in the UK.
After selling the agency to WPP he embarked on part two of his career, client side as Marketing Director of Anglian Home Improvements, then Everest and latterly, Safestyle PLC. A truly triple glazed career guiding the three biggest brands in the industry to over £2.5 billion in sales during his tenures.
Building teams through training, investing in people and creating safe learning environments is at the heart of his philosophy to success.
Martin now offers his services as a consultant, NED, speaker, or mentor to a variety of businesses. He splits his time between Suffolk and Tuscany working on tasks from both locations. Happily married, proud father and keen collector of wine and Watches.
