We are delighted to be holding our Spring Forum at the National Space Centre, Leicester which will take place on Thursday 5th March 2026.
The National Space Centre really is a visit that is out of this world. Take a journey through their themed galleries, stopping at over 150 interactive experiences! Sit back in awe in the UK’s largest planetarium as they take you on a voyage of discovery in their 360° full dome experience. Business Forum
Our Forum is free to our members to attend andtakes place in the Planetarium at the National Space Centre, Exploration Drive, Space City, Leicester, LE4 5NS. The Forum will also include updates on CAB’s activities as well as topical business presentations. We are delighted to welcome Carly Graham from Thinkivity to enlighten us on the pros and cons of AI. On this occasion the Forum will take an interactive format. The Forum will be concluded with a panel discussion and Q&A session.
Drinks Reception and Dinner
Following the Forum, our drinks reception will take place at Boosters, National Space Centre. We will return to our usual formal dinner and seating plan on this occasion, which will be held in the exhibition area of the Space Centre. There will be plenty of time after dinner to explore the Space Centre. Information on our after-dinner speaker will follow.
The format for the afternoon/evening is as follows: –
3.30 pm Depart by coach from Marriott Leicester Hotel Reception
4.00 pm Registration, tea/coffee in Soyuz Lounge, National Space Centre
5.00 pm Business Forum in the Planetarium – Session 1
5.40 pm Refreshment break
6.00 pm Business Forum in the Planetarium – Session 2
7.00 pm Drinks Reception at Boosters, National Space Centre
8.00 pm Dinner – Exhibition Area, National Space Centre
9.30pm After dinner speaker
11.30 pm Depart the National Space Centre by coach
Dinner is charged at £175 + VAT – Tables of 10 are discounted at £1,600 + VAT
Accommodation
A small allocation of rooms has been reserved at our main hotel, the Leicester Marriott Hotel, Smith Way, Grove Park, Leicester, LE19 1SW at a B&B rate of £126 including VAT. The hotel (with on-site parking) is a 15-minute car journey from the National Space Centre. Further information and directions can be found here.
