Hydro Aluminium Extrusion has 3 sites, Tibshelf, Cheltenham and Birtley with in total 6 presses with approximately 55000 tonnes of capacity. It also has a remelt facility for recycling both production and post consumer scrap at its Tibshelf site. In addition there is an anodizing plant at its Cheltenham factory with two dedicated fabrication sites at Bromyard and Redditch specializing in forming, welding, CNC machining and assembly. Hydro also make their own dies at a dedicated die shop in Gloucester.
The company services all markets with broadly 45% of its total extruded volume going into the building and construction market. Other markets include transport, rail, bus, manufacture, automotive, engineering and distribution.
