IDF Aluminium Ltd chose to use the Jack Aluminium PAS 24 TD68 thermal Jack Door and low U-value curtain walling for the new Elstree Aerodrome project.
The aerodrome’s 8.5 metre tall, three-storey vestibule and entranceway is both secure and energy efficient. The Jack Door boasts superb thermal efficiency with a U-value of 1.7 W/m²K and a BM TRADA Q-Mark certification under the Enhanced Security Door scheme. Jack Aluminium’s curtain walling uses PVCu pressure plates to create a thermal insulation barrier.
