Westfield London is the largest shopping centre in Europe. Powdertech worked on the recent extension where the majestic and enduring appearance of Jura Limestone was required for parts of the exterior and interior. Powdertech expertise, combined with the flexibility and design freedom of aluminium and powder coating, enabled the vision to be realised. Powdertech tested and compared different powders and effects against the limestone with its natural veins on a beige background. Within four weeks ‘Ballycastle Stone’, a bespoke powder in our Landscape™ range, was ready to be applied to 4500sq m of aluminium cladding panels.
