Panel Systems developed a bespoke Cedar panel for a prestigious apartment block at Granary Wharf in Leeds city centre to provide an eye-catching exterior using sustainable natural materials.
The company developed a bespoke Cedar panel, which met the architect’s requirement for the use of sustainable natural materials, but that could withstand the wind loadings on the exposed elements of the upper floors of the building. It was also important that a panel was developed that could fit effectively with the glazing system and create a robust weathertight seal.
The panels provide a stunning addition to the sophisticated, contemporary exterior of the building in the heart of Leeds.
