CAB’s commitment to raising standards in the aluminium fenestration sector has been strengthened by the evolution of the CAB Training Academy.
The CAB Training Academy is a CITB & GQA Approved Training centre.
CAB are committed to providing a suite of training for aluminium fabrication & fenestration businesses providing a better understanding of sales, design, procurement, fabrication/manufacture, on site installation and project management / leadership – from Trainee to Director, CAB aim to cater for all and are inclusive of all.
CAB Training Academy training modules have been developed in association with the CAB Training Committees, which are formed of representatives from well-known fenestration system houses and member fabrication companies, providing industry wide support to our training offer.
Member companies who plan to undertake training should consider Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Behaviours training for their staff.
CAB’s training offers “knowledge” training as it’s cornerstone to support members with proving competence and compliance to the requirements of the Building Safety Bill introduced in the House of Commons on 5th July 2021. Further information on the Building Safety Act 2021 may be found on the following page: The Building Safety Act 2021 | Council for Aluminium in Building (c-a-b.org.uk)
