Siderise reasserts commitment to Code for Construction Product Information

Siderise has successfully undergone the two-year review process for its CW-FS Firestop under the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI), involving a rigorous reassessment of the organisation, its management systems and leadership and culture surrounding how it creates, manages and shares product data. Alongside this, it has had several key ranges newly assessed, including products from its acoustic ranges, meaning the company now offers an increased suite of solutions that carry the CCPI Mark, providing even greater assurance of its commitment to providing “clear, accurate, up-to-date, accessible and unambiguous” information.

The Siderise CW-FS Firestop product set for curtain walling was one of the first ranges to go through the scheme’s rigorous and independent assessment process in 2023, which includes assessing that the leadership and business culture aligns with the ethos of the CCPI. The 2025 reassessment report, which included summarising survey responses from 41 randomly selected employees about the company’s approach to information creation and management, highlighted that there is “a common understanding that Siderise has a strong culture of “doing the right thing,” almost at all costs. This sentiment was consistently expressed in the discussions, particularly regarding fire safety.”

It also stated that: “Those spoken to consistently expressed a view that Siderise strives to provide the highest quality, safest products, and accurate product information. They also emphasised the strong emphasis on “Integrity” in the daily work, which appears to stem from Siderise senior leadership.”

This strong foundation has enabled the company to expand its range of CCPI-Marked products rapidly over the past two years, starting with its core life-safety critical products including RH Horizontal and RV Vertical Cavity Barrier for cladding applications, and CT Cavity Tray and EW Cavity Barrier and Firestop for masonry external walls. At the end of 2025, it added several additional products to the portfolio:

In line with its long-term commitment to ‘integrity in all we do’, achieving CCPI conformance for these core product ranges is just one part of Siderise’s wider strategy to support accurate specification and a safer built environment, including alignment with PAS 2000, which sets expectations for product information in that it must be robust enough to demonstrate due diligence.. Siderise Technical Director, Lee Nichols, explained:

“By having our core product ranges assessed, we want to not only demonstrate to our customers our commitment to actively responding to the challenges they face but help the industry to raise its collective understanding of the crucial importance of product safety and testing.

We have aligned getting the CCPI Mark for our core products with developing a more holistic specification support package, including creating Specification Packs that summarise the relevant product information for the designated application, and building our partnership with specification platforms such as NBS. We also continue to advance our competency programme to ensure that anyone who conveys product information is equipped with the right level of knowledge and we are proud to employ over 50 people across the globe who have successfully achieved IFE 2 and 3 qualifications (21/01/26).

We welcome the growing momentum behind the CCPI, especially the regulatory interest in its framework.”

The CCPI was created by the Construction Product Association (CPA)’s Marketing Integrity Group, which at the time was chaired by Siderise CEO Adam Turk, in response to calls for clearer labelling and marketing of construction products to support accurate specification. It is now overseen by Construction Product Information Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation that is independently governed and headed by Chief Executive, Amanda Long.
