We are delighted to announce details of our second and much talked about CABfest and Golf Tournament, giving our members and guests the opportunity to network in a relaxed environment.
This will be held at Donnington & Co. Donnington & Co. is a privately owned hotel, spa and golf club and is surrounded by stunning parkland.
With a band, DJ and street food this event will once again be the highlight of the year. We would encourage you to book early to secure your places for golf and/or CABfest.
You do not have to play golf to attend CABfest and vice versa. They are separate events and you can attend both or just one of them.
CABfest will commence at 5pm and will consist of a band, DJ and street food. The band, Electric Kicks, are a group of talented men and delivers a non-stop setlist of festival anthems and floor-filling classics.
The timings for the day are as follows: –
From 9am Golf registration & refreshments in the Golf Oak Room
9.30am Golf tee-offs from 1st & 10th holes
5.00pm CABfest begins
7.00pm Delicious Food Served
8.45pm Golf winners announced
11pm End of festival
Golf
The Golf tournament will be held on the beautiful Donnington & Co golf course. Playing from the white tees, the course spans 6296 yards, playing at a par score of 71. Although some of the holes are quite forgiving the closing four holes are regarded as one of the toughest finishes in the country, with water featuring prominently on 15th, 16th and 17th holes. The cost is £85 + VAT which includes coffee and a bacon roll before tee-off.
Please note, that the golf club postcode is RG14 3AL. The course plays at around 4 ½ hours and to ensure sufficient time for all, we will again have a two Tee start, with tee-offs from both the 1st & 10th holes between 9.30am and 11.30am.
CABfest is being held only yards from the 18th hole, so why not join us straight afterwards for a drink, music and street food.
CABfest ticket price includes entry to the festival, a lovely selection of food and 2 drinks tokens. The cost of the ticket is £175 + VAT
Accommodation – we have managed to secure 100 bedrooms at the Donnington & Co hotel for the evening of 9th July along with a small allocation on the 8th July. Room rates are £135 + VAT per room for single occupancy and £145 for double occupancy. To reserve a room please call 01635 551199 and quote reference ‘CABfest’.
Check in is at 3pm, although you may be able to access your room earlier. Guests may register and store luggage earlier if required.
The CAB CANCELLATION POLICY is that ALL rooms subsequently cancelled will be charged at 100% unless CAB or Donnington & Co. have been able to re-sell them.
