After deciding to add an extension to their traditional stone-built home on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, bifold doors were the client’s obvious choice to maximize the view. These also worked well with the architect’s idea of creating a glazed link between the original home and the new extension.
The clients first spotted Centor’s Integrated Doors at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show in Harrogate. The doors offered a weather-proof aluminium exterior and solid oak on the interior, which tied in well with the wood already within the house.
They also choose a light-filtering shade that they have found really useful, not just at night but also to reduce glare on a really bright day. They are delighted with the design and quality of their Centor Integrated Doors, which take centre stage in the new extension.
