Initivo (formerly VINCI Technology Centre) operates Europe’s largest façade testing laboratory. Based on 5.5 hectare site with a 3,600m2 indoor facility, testing includes:
- Weathertightness
- Acoustic (airborne & flanking)
- Structural
- Seismic
- Thermal.
They also construct full scale building mock-ups & prototypes, and their materials laboratory performs a range of tests on construction materials.
Initivo are an Approved Body for Curtain Walling testing: NB1766 and accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS laboratory 0057).
They carry out testing in accordance with European and international standards; work can also be customised to suit client specific procedures.
