The Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) brought together industry experts and members at Loughborough University on 7th May for its 2026 Technical Conference, with a strong focus on competence across the built environment.
Set against the backdrop of ongoing regulatory reform, the event explored what competence means in practice, from workforce skills through to product specification, and how businesses can respond to increasing scrutiny and accountability.
