We are keen to encourage as many manufacturers and specialist contractors as possible in the fenestration industry to respond to this consultation, which will have a lasting impact on our sector. This prospectus sets out government’s plans for regulatory reform and the development of a single construction regulator. It provides a strategic case for reforming the regulatory system for the built environment and sets out the potential role for the new regulator within it. This prospectus also provides proposals for future areas of focus for a reformed regulatory system.
The deadline for responses is 20 March 2026 @ 11:59pm.
We have prepared a final draft of our response (see link below), which you are welcome to use as the basis for your response, but please use your own words where possible, as “copy-paste” responses may be discounted.
