We are delighted to announce details of our 29th AGM, Dinner and Golf Tournament.
This year our event will be held at Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club. The hotel is surrounded by 150 acres of peaceful parkland and is centrally located close to the M40, M6 and M1. Its facilities include a health club with pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym.
CAB will be providing golf shirts for all those taking part in our golf competition, which this year will carry the CAB logo along with that of our chosen charity, CRASH.
Our after-dinner entertainment will include, back by popular demand, Ian Stone and Tim Clark.
Ian is known to CAB having entertained us and been well received at a previous event. He is a stand-up comedian, broadcaster and writer notable for appearing as a guest on shows such as the comedy panel show Mock the Week.
Tim Clark has been a Stand-up comic for most of his adult life and still does over 200 performances each year, with countless shows at all the premier venues. On TV he was host of the classic “Game Show Give Us A Clue” (BBC1); the sporting chat show “Under The Moon” (Ch4); as well as scores of appearances on various TV and panel shows.

From 8.30am Golf registration & refreshments in the Clubhouse
9.30am Golf tee-offs from 1st & 10th holes
6.00pm Drinks reception in the County Suite Foyer
6.15pm CAB 29th AGM in rear section of the County Suite
7.45pm Dinner in the County Suite (Dress Code – Black Tie)
Golf
The Golf tournament will be held on the PGA European-Tour Standard course, a mature, championship-standard and scenic course which offers a test for all levels of player. The cost is now only £65 + VAT which includes a breakfast roll before tee-off and halfway house refreshments on the course.
Please note, the course plays at around 41/2 hours and to ensure sufficient time for all, we will again have a two-tee start, with tee-offs from both the 1st & 10th holes between 9.30am and 11.30am.
Drinks Reception, CAB 29th AGM & Dinner – the drinks reception commences at 6.00pm in the County Suite Foyer. The AGM starts at 6.15pm in the adjacent suite and we would urge you to come along and have your say in the running of your Trade Association.
Dinner – this includes a charity raffle and the presentation of golf prizes by the CAB President followed by our After Dinner entertainment. The cost is £195 + VAT for individual tickets, £1,950 + VAT per table of 10.
Accommodation – we have secured 160 bedrooms in the hotel for the evening of 29th June along with a small allocation on the 28th June. Room rates are £140 inclusive per room for single occupancy and £150 inclusive per room for double occupancy.
