We are delighted to announce details of our eagerly anticipated and much talked about inaugural CABfest and Golf Tournament, giving our members and guests the opportunity to network in a relaxed environment.
This will be held at the De Vere Wokefield Estate. The mansion house is set in 250 acres of Berkshire parkland, its history is etched in the different architectural features that greet you throughout. Easily accessible from J11 of the M4. Its facilities include a gym, sauna and indoor heated pool.
Our new event is shaping up to be the highlight of the year. Having discussed details with various members we are expecting it to be very popular. We would encourage you to book early to secure your places for golf and CABfest.
CABfest will commence at 5pm and will consist of a band, DJ and street food. The band, The Collective, are a group of talented and experienced session musicians performing massive hits old and new. Our DJ will keep the party going all night long.
The timings for the day are as follows: –
From 9am Golf registration & refreshments in the Clubhouse
9.30am Golf tee-offs from 1st & 10th holes
5.00pm CABfest begins
7.00pm Street food served
8.45pm Golf winners announced
11pm End of festivalGolf
The Golf tournament will be held on the 6,996-yard, par 72 Championship course that is designed to US PGA standards and one of the leading golf clubs in Berkshire. Seasoned professional or first-time golfer; this thoughtfully designed, Reading golf course features elevated tees, streams, lakes and bunkers to test your skill. The cost is £85 + VAT which includes coffee and a bacon roll before tee-off and halfway house refreshments.
Please note, the course plays at around 41/2 hours and to ensure sufficient time for all, we will again have a two Tee start, with tee-offs from both the 1st & 10th holes between 9.30am and 11.30am.
CABfest is being held only yards from the 18th hole, so why not join us straight afterwards for a drink, music and street food.
CABfest ticket price includes entry to the festival, street food from 3 different stalls, of which you can divulge in something from each and 2 drinks tokens. The cost of the ticket is £105 + VAT
Accommodation – we have managed to secure 100 bedrooms in the hotel for the evening of 19th June along with a small allocation on the 18th June. Room rates are £147 inclusive per room for single occupancy. Please see attached booking form for accommodation, we would draw your attention to the cancellation policy. Room accounts should be settled directly with the hotel on departure.
